You can see the whole segment from 60 Minutes in the video, something that CBS viewers in parts of Alabama were not able to do. It's great that CBS is letting their video be embedded. The story is potentially much bigger than one might think. Alabama was one of Karl Rove's earliest stomping grounds. It was also the place where Bush went AWOL to from the Texas Air National Guard. It was also the place where one of Rove's assistants found himself as an underqualified US Attorney after the mass firings of US Attorneys. It could be big. Nixon got impeached over a paltry burglary. There are newshounds with their teeth in this story. Let's hope they don't let go and that a future stop for the Turd Blossom Express is in a cell next to Conrad Black's. |
