. . . and he’s got a whole caucus of faces behind him that make even him look good. Take a look at him with Rob Leone, another lens charmer from his shadow cabinet. Here’s another later picture that’s even scarier. The picture displayed above is attached to a story in today’s Star on a poll done by Forum Research. The poll shows that Hudak is mysteriously running well behind his party and that the Liberals, now led by a Toronto lesbian are gaining on him. Lorne Bozinoff , the Forum Research supremo is a little mystified:
“Approval ratings for Hudak are always low. I don’t know why,” said Bozinoff, pointing out 50 per cent disapproved of Hudak compared with 30 per cent who disapprove of Wynne and 24 per cent of Horwath.
There are two things here. First, Forum Research should not be cited as a solid source for anything. Its methods (usually a telephone survey of fewer than a thousand people) are laughable and it does conduct product-based and client-based push polls for hire. Nothing wrong with that, but people should know who is telling them what and on what basis before the editors start writing headlines. Second, to clear up some of the Hudak popularity mystery, perhaps Mr. Bozinoff could just take a gander at Hudak’s picture. And then listen to him. He’s a revolting individual with a disgusting set of ideas that make Mittington Romulus III look warm and huggable in comparison.
Update: A Bruce Macdonald take on Hudak’s union dues (optional) doctrine, courtesy of OPSEU. Pretty good!
