Mark Bittman has an Opinionator post in today's Times. It's about the Slow Food Movement and its founder Carlo Petrini. In olden times, we once posted a riveting Web Club note about Slow Food. I'll look for it and put it up as a JBRetroPost as soon as the taxes are finished. Today's Bittman post is well worth reading. [Yes, Jennifer, it really is.] People might find the Petrini video below interesting as well. The 2011 lecture at UC Berkeley is part of an actual course called Edible Education 101. The lecture is over an hour in length and is in Italian. It is brilliantly translated on the fly by Corby Kummer.
