Patrick Cockburn is one of a very small number of unembedded Western journalists covering Iraq. At Joe Briggs Place we're happy to have him embedded in the video below from the Frontline Club in London (1 April 2008). The video is 90 minutes long. He's been all over the non-American broadcast airwaves of late. A chapter from his just-released book, Muqtada: Muqtada al-Sadr, the Shia Revival, and the Struggle for Iraq, is available at TomDispatch. |
