Chalmers Johnson's Blowback Trilogy has been a favourite at Joe Briggs Place. We encountered him first as a contributor to TomDispatch where you can still find all his contributions. They all helped make sense of the dark age of the Boy Emperor, which is not over. You can find a longer video introduction to him as part of the Conversations with History series. A really good short clip that shows him at his best is an interview recorded around the publication of The Sorrows of Empire: Militarism, Secrecy and the End of the Republic in 2005.
