Ken Finkleman was ostensibly on the Jian Ghomeshi show (Feb 23, 2011) to publicize a new HBO comedy he produced. Interestingly, one of the best discussions of media I’ve encountered in quite a while inadvertently broke out. Finkleman lulls Ghomeshi into a false sense of security by complaining that he’s talking faster than Finkleman's brain can process information. He then launches into a rapid-fire discussion of the G20 police riot, the police snow plow funeral, the Globe’s firing of Rick Salutin, and the Globe’s boys-in-blue loving sob sister in a few minutes of brilliant off-tangent commentary.
