It really is hard to be funnier than the Republican Wild Bunch. Jon Stewart did cover the who-does-not-believe-in-evolution question. But that was a wash in the funny contest with Tommy Thompson's plea that his one standout answer ("Yes, employers should be able to terminate employees for working while gay.") was the result of a hearing aid malfunction.
